About 4 years ago my life changed when my 24 year old son was in an auto accident that left him with a skull fracture and brain bleed that left him with frontal lobe brain damage. He began having Gran Mal Seizures and was left in severe pain due to fractures in the spine. The brain damage forever changed him. It was as if I was given someone else's child. His personality changed greatly. This once gentle loveable child was now very angry. His memory had been affected, he would start things and could not finish them. He was only 4 classes away from graduating college and now that will most likely never happen. He has been unable to work, yet Social Security is fighting us due to his age. I am on disability and a limited income and am now trying to support him too. I have battled depression since my early 30's and I am now facing that again. I am writing this blog to try to find my own Baby Steps To Happiness!
